| The $100,000 H.L. and Janelle Hembree Student Investment Portfolio Fund was established by Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Hembree to bolster student learning outside the classroom in a real-world setting and to provide a venue for learning about the various aspects of investing through practical, hands-on experience by students who are attending the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith. |

| Students participating in the Fund manage a real portfolio of exchange-listed stocks. They perform individual and group research projects, develop investment strategies, research and invest in specific stocks, learn about various analytical techniques, and make presentations before leading finance practitioners. |
